Questions

Golf tips FAQ

How the tips, the stakes and the record work.

Are the golf betting tips free?

Yes. Every tip is free for the rest of 2026, on this page. Premium tipping launches in January 2027.

When are the golf tips posted?

Tips go up on this page before the first tee: outrights before Thursday, 2-balls and match bets on the day, each with the price, stake and terms.

Which tours do the tips cover?

The PGA Tour, the DP World Tour, the LPGA Tour and other events, including the majors.

What do the stakes in points mean?

One point is whatever unit you choose. Stakes vary with confidence, and each-way stakes are per part, so 2pts each way is 4 points in total.

How can I check the record is genuine?

Every tip is written into a public, hash-chained ledger when it’s posted. Each entry seals the one before it, so nothing can be edited, deleted or back-dated without breaking the chain. Since 28 September 2026 every entry is also postmarked with OpenTimestamps, which writes its fingerprint into the Bitcoin blockchain within a few hours, so no one, us included, can back-date it. Each entry’s proof is in data/seals/, numbered like the ledger (for example 6.txt and 6.txt.ots): drop both on opentimestamps.org to see the date.

What price should I take?

Each tip lists the best price widely available when it was posted, and results are settled at that price. If it has shortened a lot by the time you see it, it’s usually worth passing.
