Won the European Legends Cup on 20 September with a closing 64, his second win of the year. Also a three-time DP World Tour winner.

Four of the five have yet to win on their tour. The fifth, Johan Edfors, is the Legends Tour’s form player, with two wins already this year. All five are each way: ten places at 1/5 at the Dunhill Links, five places at 1/4 in Utah and in Beijing.

Jacob Skov Olesen 22/1 · 1pt e/w

Alfred Dunhill Links Championship · 10 places at 1/5

The Dane is left-handed, 10th in the Race to Dubai and still without a DP World Tour win. He was tied second at the British Masters on 30 August, tied seventh at the Irish Open this month and tied ninth at the Danish Golf Championship before that. He shared the first-round lead at last year’s Open at Royal Portrush, and the Dunhill is played over Carnoustie, Kingsbarns and the Old Course. The missed cut at the BMW PGA on 20 September is the blemish, and ten places at 1/5 gives the price some cover.

Hennie du Plessis 80/1 · 0.5pts e/w

Alfred Dunhill Links Championship · 10 places at 1/5

Du Plessis is 18th in the Race to Dubai without a win. He was third in Kenya, tied second at the South African Open, fourth at the Joburg Open and second at the BMW International Open in July, after leading at halfway. The form has come and gone too: he has missed seven cuts in his last fourteen DP World Tour starts, though he made the weekend at the Open de France last week. That is why the stake is small and the price is big.

Doug Ghim 22/1 · 1pt e/w

Bank of Utah Championship · 5 places at 1/4

Ghim is 13th on the PGA Tour in strokes gained total this season and eighth off the tee, and Black Desert is a course where good driving pays. He has two top tens and seven top 25s in 2026, six top 20s in his last ten starts, and closed with a 62 at the Biltmore Championship. He has never won on the PGA Tour, and his two starts here were tied 25th in 2024 and tied 63rd last year. At 22/1, the form looks worth backing.

Eric Cole 40/1 · 0.5pts e/w

Bank of Utah Championship · 5 places at 1/4

Cole was tied third, four behind Neal Shipley, going into the last round of the Biltmore Championship, then closed with a 73 to finish tied 24th. He is sixth on Tour in putting and 53rd in strokes gained total, and has yet to win on the PGA Tour. The worry is his driving, 149th in strokes gained off the tee this season on a course that rewards it, so the stake is half a point each way. A steadier weekend from a top-six putter is all he needs at 40/1 and five places.

Johan Edfors 9/1 · 0.5pts e/w

Reignwood Legends Championship · 5 places at 1/4

Edfors joined the Legends Tour in October 2025 and has already won twice. He took the OFX Irish Legends at Carton House in July, then the European Legends Cup on 20 September, where a closing 64 turned a four-shot deficit into a three-shot win. He is second in the order of merit behind Stephen Gallacher, and a three-time DP World Tour winner. The event is three rounds over the Legends Course at Reignwood Pine Valley, and Keith Horne won the first one last year at 12 under.

Left out

Matt Fitzpatrick, the world No 4 and the 2023 winner at the Dunhill, won the Open de France by three shots on Sunday. He said afterwards that he was out of position a few times and scrambled his way to twelve straight pars, so the golf was not as clean as the result, and he is left out.

Prices are those taken on Wednesday 30 September, with Skov Olesen and Ghim at Paddy Power. Each-way stakes are per part, so the five bets are seven points in all. Stakes are in points, and all five are settled on the record.
