Sixth in the betting for this market, behind Jeeno Thitikul, Miyu Yamashita, Ruoning Yin, Sei Young Kim and A Lim Kim.

There is no PGA Tour event this week, so the card moves to the DP World Tour in Delhi and the LPGA Tour in Shanghai. Neither is easy to read. The India Championship is only in its second year, and the Buick LPGA Shanghai has moved to a new course. Between them they carry seven bets on five players, all each way, 11.5 points in total.

The places are generous: ten at 1/5 in Delhi, five at 1/4 in Shanghai, and four at 1/4 in the markets for the best player from a region.

The India Championship

Delhi Golf Club is a par 72 of 6,912 yards, a tree-lined parkland course that Gary Player Design rebuilt in 2019, with the greens resurfaced in MiniVerde Bermuda. It rewards players who keep the ball in play. Tommy Fleetwood won the first edition last year on 22 under, two shots clear of Keita Nakajima, while Rory McIlroy, who finished tied 26th on his debut, left the driver out of his bag.

The rest of last year’s top six shows the type. Shane Lowry, Alex Fitzpatrick and Thriston Lawrence tied for third on 18 under, and Viktor Hovland, Joost Luiten and Jayden Schaper tied for sixth on 17 under. McIlroy and Fleetwood are joint-favourites again, with Lowry, Robert MacIntyre, Aaron Rai and Lee next in the betting.

Min Woo Lee 14/1, 1.5pts e/w

DP World India Championship, 10 places at 1/5

Lee has been in contention all season. He was second at the Genesis Scottish Open, tied second at Pebble Beach and tied fourth at the Tour Championship, and last week he was tied ninth at the Baycurrent Classic with rounds of 67, 67, 72 and 66. This is his first start in India, and a course that asks for accuracy more than power is the reason for the doubt. With ten places at 1/5, a player who has been this close this often is worth backing at 14/1, and he gets the biggest stake on the card.

Daniel Hillier 22/1, 0.5pts e/w

DP World India Championship, 10 places at 1/5

Hillier is a New Zealander with one DP World Tour win, the 2023 British Masters. He was tied second at the same event in August, three shots behind Joe Dean after sharing the 54-hole lead, and last week he was tied 26th at the Open de España, where a hole-in-one on the 17th in round one won him a BMW. Delhi is the reason he is on the card. He was tied ninth here last year after seven birdies in his first ten holes on Sunday, and was in a share of the lead with five to play before a double bogey and two bogeys over the closing stretch. The stake is half a point each way.

Min Woo Lee, top Rest of World 4/1, 0.5pts e/w

DP World India Championship, 4 places at 1/4

Lee is the favourite in this market, ahead of Casey Jarvis, Hillier, Ryan Fox, Schaper and Lawrence. It is not a gift. Schaper and Lawrence both finished in the top six here last year, and Lee has never played the course. The bet is on class, and the place part pays a quarter of the odds on four places, which is evens, so it is half a point each way and no more.

Left out

McIlroy and Fleetwood are the joint-favourites, and at those prices ten places at 1/5 pay little, so both are left out. Lowry, third here last year, and Rai head the next band of the betting and are also left out. Jacob Skov Olesen, tipped in each of the last two weeks and fourth in Madrid, is left out this week.

The Buick LPGA Shanghai

The Buick LPGA Shanghai has a new home. It leaves Qizhong Garden for Sheshan Golf Club, a par 72 of about 6,735 yards that staged the WGC-HSBC Champions for the men from 2005 to 2019. Water comes into play on many holes, and the 289-yard par-4 16th is drivable. It is an 81-player field with no cut and a record $3.2 million purse. Nobody has LPGA form on the course, so last year’s results here count for less than usual.

Jeeno Thitikul is the defending champion, beating Minami Katsu on the fifth playoff hole last year after both finished on 24 under. She has won four times in 2026, the latest at the Lotte Championship, and is the favourite at about 9/2. Miyu Yamashita, who won the Ladies European Tour’s Aramco Korea Championship on Sunday, is second in the betting and Ruoning Yin, the 2024 winner here, is third.

Hye-Jin Choi 22/1, 1pt e/w

Buick LPGA Shanghai, 5 places at 1/4

Choi has never won on the LPGA Tour, but she has three top-eight finishes this season: third at the Mizuho Americas Open, tied fifth at Blue Bay and tied eighth in Thailand. Her recent form is steadier than sharp, a tied 13th at the Lotte Championship last time after tied 17ths at the FM Championship and the CPKC Women’s Open. She was tied 11th in Shanghai last year. With no cut and five places at 1/4, she is a point each way.

Auston Kim 20/1, 1pt e/w

Buick LPGA Shanghai, 5 places at 1/4

Kim has the strongest form of the three LPGA players on the card. She was fourth at the Lotte Championship and tied fifth at the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship in her last two starts. Earlier in the year she was second at the HSBC Women’s World Championship, third at Blue Bay, tied fifth at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship and ninth at the Evian Championship. She was tied 11th in Shanghai last year, and 20/1 with five places is a point each way.

Allisen Corpuz, top North American 9/1, 0.75pts e/w

Buick LPGA Shanghai, 4 places at 1/4

Corpuz, the 2023 U.S. Women’s Open champion, was third at the FM Championship in August, tied fifth at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship and tied seventh at the Mizuho Americas Open, but she was tied 28th at the Lotte Championship and missed the cut at the Evian and the AIG Women’s Open. With no cut in Shanghai, that risk is gone. Kim, who is also on the card outright, is in the same market, so the two can share the places. Three-quarters of a point each way.

Hye-Jin Choi, top Asian 16/1, 0.5pts e/w

Buick LPGA Shanghai, 4 places at 1/4

Five players are ahead of Choi in the betting for the best Asian player: Thitikul, Yamashita, Yin, Sei Young Kim and A Lim Kim. To place she has to finish among the top four Asian players, so the stake is half a point each way.

Left out

Thitikul at about 9/2 and Yamashita at around 5/1 are left out. At those prices five places at 1/4 return little, and Thitikul is defending a title she won on a different course.

Prices are BoyleSports’ on Wednesday 14 October, with ten places at 1/5 in Delhi, five places at 1/4 for the Shanghai outrights and four places at 1/4 in the region markets. Each-way stakes are per part, so the seven bets are 11.5 points in all. Stakes are in points, and all seven are settled on the record.

Every tip is on the record, win or lose.
