A small card for a weak field, and a late one because of travel this week. Doug Ghim is two points each way at 18/1 and Ben Griffin one point each way at 20/1, six points in all, both on ten places at 1/5. There will be more bets over the weekend, with two-balls and three-balls the likeliest, each one logged on the record when it goes up.
The VidantaWorld Mexico Open
The VidantaWorld Mexico Open is at Vidanta Vallarta, with a $6 million purse, from Thursday to Sunday. Wyndham Clark heads the market in a fall-series field. Austin Smotherman won the Bank of Utah Championship earlier this month in his 100th PGA Tour start, which is the kind of result these events can throw up.
Doug Ghim 18/1, 2pts e/w
VidantaWorld Mexico Open, 10 places at 1/5
Ghim was on the card at the Bank of Utah Championship at 22/1 and placed, finishing second on 24 under, two shots behind Smotherman, who won with a course-record 258. He is still without a PGA Tour win, and that second place is his best recent form. He takes the bigger stake, two points each way.
Ben Griffin 20/1, 1pt e/w
VidantaWorld Mexico Open, 10 places at 1/5
Griffin has been quieter lately. He missed the cut at the Wyndham Championship and was tied 44th at the BMW Championship in August. Earlier in the year he was solo third at the Cadillac Championship and tied third at the Charles Schwab Challenge, which he won in 2025. This is a far weaker field than either of those, so it is one point each way at 20/1.
Prices are from Thursday 29 October, with ten places at 1/5 for both bets. Each-way stakes are per part, so the two bets are six points in all, and both are settled on the record. Corrected on Monday 2 November 2026: this article first gave five places at 1/4 for both bets, which was entered in error. The bets were struck at ten places at 1/5. Griffin was also first labelled in-play, which was wrong, because he had not teed off when this was posted.
